Reactions to Residential Training
Residential training was held on 7-9 November. 35 people attended from a wide variety of local, regional and national organisations. People from vastly different backgrounds and experiences coming together to take part in training.
Some of the reactions from participants were:
I've never before been part of such a diverse group, it was very valuable having such a unique opportunity.
it gave me the opportunity to get away to find space to think about power and action.
Establishing relationships and generating enthusiasm; we intend to continue meeting some of those we met.
it was a real privilege to hear about the experiences of people form a very different background to me and participate in discussions on equal terms.
